• BUILT-IN HOBS
Enameled parts must be cleaned with a sponge and soapy water or other non-abrasive products.
Dry preferably with a soft cloth.
Acid substances like lemon juice, tomato sauce, vinegar, etc. can damage the enamel if left too long.
Stainless Steel, Aluminium Parts, and Silk-Screen Printed Surfaces:
a ) Clean using an appropriate product. Always dry thoroughly.
b ) These parts must be cleaned very carefully to avoid scratching and abrasion. You are advised to use a soft cloth and neutral soap.
c ) Do not use abrasive substances or non-neutral detergents, as these will irreparably damage the protective surface.
Burners and Grids:
They can be removed and washed only with soapy water. Detergents can be used but must not be abrasive or corrosive. Do not use abrasive sponges or
pads. Do not put in dishwasher.
b ) After cleaning or wash, check that the burner-caps and burner heads are dry before placing them in the respective housings.
It is very important to verify the position of the burner-caps because a misplacing in their slots can cause a serious damage.
Check that the electrode for ignition be always clean in order to ensure a regular spark shooting.
Check also that the probe next to each burner is always clean to ensure correct operation of the safety valves.
Metal grease filters: Should be cleaned at least once a month with normal usage. They may be washed in hot water and mild liquid detergent or liquid
soap or in a dishwasher.
The active charcoal filter should be replaced at least every four months or more frequently if the hood is used for continuous periods or when cooking very
• BUILT-IN OVENS
Inside of oven must be cleaned every time it is used.
With the oven warm, wipe the inside walls with a cloth soaked in very hot soapy water or another suitable product. The accessories can be removed and
washed in a sink.
• WASHING MACHINES
Your washer / washer dryer does not require any particular or complicated operations, in that it has been designed for a long working life. Nevertheless some attention is required. Before carrying out the following operations, ensure that the machine is disconnected from the electricity supply and that the water is turned off.
Cleaning should be done whenever there is any detergent residue in the compartment drawer.
Cleaning the filter pump should be done at least once a month to make sure there is no water in the pump. Remove the filters from their holders and rinse
them under The machine should not be cleaned with solvents. Use a damp, slightly soapy cloth.
Recommended use and Safety Tips:
Do not use adapters, extension leads and multiple sockets.
Do not expose the machine to the elements.
Check that the plumbing connections are correct and the drainage hose is properly placed.
The machine does not open until 3 minutes after the end of the cycle or after it has been turned off.
Use low subsiding detergent and fabric softener (if desired) eg. Persil.
Ensure the correct amount as too much detergent might cause excessive foaming and reduce the performance of your washing machine.
Do not remove detergent compartment while machine is operating, to avoid water spillage.
Sort laundry by type of fabric, select correct program and correct temperature.
Do not overload the machine with washing.
After use, it is advisable to disconnect the machine from the power supply and close the water supply tap.
Clean the internal basket of the dryer with a damp cloth to remove dust.
Clean the filler with a soft brush after removing the dry laundry. It should be washed periodically with soap and water in order to remove even very small
particles. Failure to clean the filter after each dying cycle will extend drying times and could cause the safety cut-out to operate.
Recommended use and Safety Tips:
Never cover the exit openings at the front and back of your machine.
The drying time depends on the following factors: weight, size of clothing, type of fabrics, moisture. Well wrung clothing will take less time to dry. Do not
load with dripping laundry.
Do not overload your dryer to avoid creasing.
Do not dry clothing with rubber finishes.
Do not dry articles which have been treated with dry cleaning agents.
Never switch the dryer off and leave a hot load in the dryer.
Exterior: Use a lukewarm solution of mild soap or detergent to clean the durable finish of your refrigerator. Wipe with a clean, damp cloth and then dry. For
stainless steel refrigerators, it is recommended to use 3M Stainless Steel Cleaner & Polisher to clean and polish your refrigerator.
Interior: Regular cleaning of the interior and interior parts is recommended. If you have No Frost model, which defrosts automatically, leave both doors
open during the entire cleaning process. Disconnect the power supply, and remove food and all compartment shelves, storage trays etc.
Wash all compartments with a baking soda solution. Rinse and dry.
Interior Parts: Wash compartment shelves, door racks, storage trays and magnetic door seals etc. with the baking soda solution or a mild detergent and
warm water. Rinse and dry.
Spilled food should be wipe up immediately, since it may acidify and stain plastic surfaces if allowed to settle.
Never use metallic scouring pads, brushes, course abrasive cleaners or strong alkaline solutions on any surface.
